Introducing the Pastor
Nice to meet you. Thank you for visiting the Kitashinda Bible Church website. I am Yutaka Wada, the new pastor who took office in April 2017. I was born and raised in Otori, Sakai City. After graduating from university, I gained three years of work experience at a materials manufacturer. I then spent four years studying and training to become a pastor at a school called the Bible Mission in Tokyo. I served as an associate pastor at Takaishi Bible Church for two years, and have been in my current position ever since.
Recently, I've been running, aiming to complete a full marathon in sub-5 hours (finishing in under five hours). I've been growing Phalaenopsis orchids since the fall of 2017, and every year they bloom with beautiful white flowers, giving me joy.
I also enjoy taking pictures of landscapes, flora and fauna with my SLR camera. When I manage to capture a picture of a butterfly drinking nectar from a flower, I am especially moved by its beauty.
I think many people are moved by the beauty of nature. In addition, when we reflect on the fact that God created this world to please us, our emotions become even deeper. Let's enjoy the life that God has given us together.
